The tree farm we chose to spotlight this year is Hilltop Pines, located in the rolling acres of Camp Springs, KY. The first thing you will notice upon pulling into the parking lot is that the name Hilltop Pines really means something. The trees are located on the hills. Don't let this discourage you. There are many trees available at the farm and there are paths leading to almost all of the trees. Saws are provided for you. Finding a good tree was an easy task. It took us about 20-25 minutes to locate the right one. After sawing the tree down it was carried to the barn at the entrance. Besides providing a saw the folks at Hilltop Pines will also put your tree on a shaker. The shaker will remove any loose pine needles that the tree may have.
Hand made Christmas time crafts are also available at the tree farm. Be sure to check the crafts out before you leave.
